The Richmond Riding for the Disabled are looking for volunteers to assist with our therapeutic horse riding lessons for our clients. Horse knowledge and or knowledge regarding people with a disability an advantage but not necessary. We are always in need of volunteers even if you do not wish to assist with our lessons. Would you like to help a former refugee family build a new life?
As a Refugee Support Volunteer you will play a key role in the successful resettlement of former refugees. We are currently receiving former refugees from Bhutan, Myanmar and Colombia.
This is a great opportunity for you to work in a team, have fun, and learn about different cultures, knowing that you are helping a family build a new life and home. Full training is provided.
Next training course: starts 15th September 2017. The course is run over a full weekend and one weekday evening.
