The New Zealand Biosecurity Awards recognise and celebrate people across New Zealand who are doing their bit for biosecurity – in our communities, businesses, government and backyards. This could be through engaging in innovation, science, community or leadership that supports New Zealand biosecurity. If you, your organisation, staff member or volunteer has initiated or been involved with a programme, protocol or one-off event that focuses on biosecurity, we want to celebrate this.
The work being done by our biosecurity team of 4.7 million every day is important to us – our lifestyles, livelihoods and our unique environment depend on it. These awards are our way of saying thanks for the great work people all over New Zealand are doing in biosecurity every day.
