The Community Organisation Grants Scheme (COGS) provides government funded grants to support voluntary and not-for-profit organisations working in local communities and neighbourhoods. The COGS Distribution Committee (LDC) is holding public meetings to identify funding priorities for the coming year.
The Election Forum will be the August Community & Whanau meeting.
We have confirmed acceptances from Nick Smith (National), Rachel Boyack (Labour), Matt Lawrey (Green) & Richard Osmaston (Money Free) and may also have NZ 1st & TOP. Questions for candidates cover:
Housing, Health, Social Wellbeing, Education, Environment.
The Election Forum, with a complimentary light lunch, is hosted by CAN (Community Action Network).
