About the event
Everybody it seems is currently talking about the subject of Mental Health in New Zealand, with one in five people experiencing some kind of mental distress at any one time. But what do we really understand about the details of the types of mental illness and their impact on the brain? And just as importantly – what are we doing about it as business leaders to support co-workers with mental illness in the workplace more effectively?
HRINZ the HR Institute in partnership with MINDZ the workplace mental health forum, is hosting a networking event to discuss these issues and are fortunate enough to have two knowledgeable and informative speakers to present to us. Dr Richard Tranter, Consultant Psychiatrist from the Nelson District Health Board and Sue Bateup, Programme Manager, WellBeing@Work Oranga Mahi, Health Action Trust.
Entry is a gold-coin donation to cover venue costs and refreshments. Please RSVP, so we can track numbers for catering to email@example.com
