When you are getting older, your lifestyle can change dramatically. In four weekly two-hour sessions we discuss aspects that have an impact on our daily life and wellbeing: e.g. health, mobility, staying connected and housing. Using fun and interactive tools we share knowledge and come up with practical solutions.
In the Consciously Growing Older workshop series participants will be discussing how to deal with different aspects and changes in life when you are growing older. Over the course of a month, we will tackle 4 topics that are sometimes overlooked but have an impact on your daily life and wellbeing. The workshops are setup to share knowledge and information.
The sessions are facilitated by Willemijn Vermaat, Director of Handle With Care which provides a service and practical and personal support for people when they are downsizing. The workshops are to encourage lively debate and active participation. Through exercises, role-playing and sharing of experiences, we will discuss how the different aspects of health, mobility, connection and housing affects our own lives. The sessions are solutions focused. People of all walks of life and experience are invited to participate.
