Monday 5

  • 11-2: Find the Library at the national launch of Adult Learners Week. Nelson Provincial Museum
  • 4-5: Digital toys and more. Launch of the Library’s week with David Brydon.

Tuesday 6

  • 10-11: Device advice
  • 10-12: Introduction to Python Coding for Adults. Bookings
  • 3-4: Explore Pinterest. Bookings

Wednesday 7

  • 10-11.30: Discover Health online – find resources you can trust. Bookings
  • 12-1: Demystifying mobile plans – find the right phone plan for you
  • 2-3: Windows 10 for beginners. Bookings

Thursday 8

  • 8.15-9.15: Introduction to Microsoft Word (Stoke). Bookings
  • 10-11.3: Discover social media. Bookings
  • 12.30-2: Creating presentations with Garage band and movie maker. Bookings
  • 2-3: Device Advice

Friday 9

  • 10-11: Discover Booklink – thousands of e-audio books, magazines and newspapers for the visually impaired. A session run by the Blind Foundation.
  • 11-12: Device Advice (Stoke)
  • 12-2: Discover the power of Instagram, with Ali Kimber of Hothouse

Saturday 10

  • 10-12: Know Your Camera for beginners: Getting out of Auto Mode for better exposure. Bookings. $10 charge
  • 2-3: Cybersafety for Adults – seniors, parents and anyone using the Internet. With John Parsons

All Week
• Recycle your mobile, camera or computer mouse for free – courtesy Nelson Environment Centre
• Digital displays, games and toys and information about digital learning at the Red Wall
• Engage with us on social media and be in to win a prize
