Summer Camps are an American tradition where children head off to a camp each year over their summer break and have a great time taking part in activities and learning new skills. Each year, IEP sends Kiwi’s aged 18 – 30 years to the USA to work as camp counsellors. The role involves being a leader, a role model and a friend to the kids. It can be a challenging job but for the right people, it’s often a life-changing experience. The young Kiwi’s we send over each year often come back with a whole lot more confidence, life skills, having made international contacts and friends and had a summer they’ll never forget. Kiwi’s are in high demand, especially the skills that your members have. We need people who are ready to depart either late May or early June 2016 and can commit for 8 – 10 weeks at camp. And the best news? There is zero application fee, it’s FREE to start an application!
We’re holding a free information session in Nelson on Monday 07 September at 6pm and we’d love to give your members (and parents) the opportunity to come along and find out more. For more details about the Summer Camp Roadshow Click Here or view details on the attached poster.
