World Refugee Day is held annually throughout New Zealand on the 20 June. This day or week provides a platform where positive images of refugees can be promoted in order to create a culture of welcome throughout the country. Ultimately it is about raising awareness and celebrating the contributions former refugees have made to our communities.

On Thursday 9 April we are having a brainstorming/planning get together to decide how to celebrate this important day.
