Kidney Health Awareness Week/ World Kidney Day 9-15 March

Kidney disease is a serious, long-term medical condition that touches the lives of many New Zealanders, but to the average person it is a confusing and complex subject. Kidney Health Awareness Week runs from 9-15 March culminating in World Kidney Day on the 12 March. It  is a global health awareness campaign focusing on the importance of the kidneys and reducing the frequency and impact of kidney disease and its associated health problems worldwide.
