MSD is working on an Approved Information Sharing Agreement (AISA) which essentially will be the way that individuals and organisations who work with the Children’s Action Teams share private information between each other about vulnerable children and their families.
MSD feel they cannot have everyone in NZ to sign up to the AISA and are looking for representative parties, who can sign this agreement on behalf of a defined ‘class’ eg: nurses, or social workers etc.
I have attached the notes from MSD who are asking for submissions on the draft AISA. This is extremely important because private information and the sharing of it, is at the core of this work. If you have any thoughts about representative parties or wish to make submissions, please read these notes and go to the consultation page.
Submissions close 12 December.
