Nelson City Council wants to better understand the priorities for the Nelson’s community over the next ten years. We would like to invite you to a meeting with Councillors and staff to discuss opportunities and challenges for the community in Nelson.
This meeting will take place on Wednesday 24 September at 12 noon. The venue is the Council Chamber, Civic House, 110 Trafalgar Street. We hope that a representative from your organisation is able to attend.
We are particularly interested in hearing about your own plans:
- What are the main challenges you are facing in the next ten years?
- Where you would like to be in 2025 as an organisation?
- How do you see your group working with Council?
The consultation will help us as we put together Council’s Long Term Plan. This Plan sets out all of Council’s activities and projects from 2015 to 2025 and how they will be paid for. The Plan will be circulated to the community in April 2015 and your organisation will have an opportunity for further input then.
