MfE – Consultation on Priority Waste Streams for Product Stewardship Intervention

The Minister for the Environment recently released a discussion document on whether Government should intervene to improve the management of four product waste streams – electrical and electronic equipment, tyres, agrichemicals and farm plastics, and refrigerants and other synthetic greenhouse gases. MfE will be holding this public workshop at TDC.

on whether Government should intervene to improve the management
of four product waste streams – electrical and electronic equipment, tyres,
agrichemicals and farm plastics, and refrigerants and other synthetic
greenhouse gases. We encourage you to make a submission: details can be found
on our website here.
The deadline for submissions is 5pm 2 July 2014.

 

We will be
holding a series of workshops during the consultation period on the discussion
document which we would also encourage you to attend. The dates and venues for
these meetings have been listed via the same link as the discussion document.
We will now be holding a public workshop in Tasman on Monday 23 June.
