Community Resilience and Good Ageing: Doing Better in Bad Times is a two-year research programme funded by MBIE through the public good science fund. This research looks at how older people and their communities can manage and recover when confronted by natural events particularly floods, storms and extreme weather. It will be held on 15 May, at Te Papa, in Wellington and is free to attend.
The Summit will include presentations about the research and tools developed from the research findings, as well as presentations from two international speakers.
