We all know that planning for the future is best practice, yet somehow stuff gets in the way. We’re all volunteers, we don’t have much time, we’re very small, we don’t know where to start or we haven’t got any money. It doesn’t have to be that way.
Planning for the future can be done in-house, utilising your own resources and at a very low cost. John Coxon, a consultant with more than 12 years experience providing services to nfp organisations in New Zealand and Australia has developed a brief intro to planning processes, titled DIY Strategic Planning for small(ish) not-for-profit organisations.
This 2-hour presentation will provide you with a framework and a process for planning. You will be able to apply it as soon as you feel the need. John will also outline the ‘good, the bad and ugly’ aspects of planning – based upon his years of experiences within the nfp sector. John has worked with healthcare providers, PHO’s, aged care providers, charities, funded service providers and volunteer community organisations. He brings an in-depth understanding of the issues faced by your organisation. John is a registered mentor for the MSD Capability program.
This presentation will take place on Monday 12th May 2014 in Nelson from 9.00am till 11.00am.
To register your attendance, please email John on firstname.lastname@example.org with organisation details and number attending. An invoice will be mailed out to you.
