Motueka is having its first Community Christmas dinner and we need your help to fill the available spaces.
Our Community Christmas dinner is a free midday dinner on Christmas Day for those in need. We are intending to cater for approximately 150 people (including children).
It is being held at the Motueka Community Hall and is supported by our community through volunteer efforts and local contributions.
We are hoping to catch-
• Families who struggle to afford Christmas
• Solo mums and Dads
• Senior citizens without family
• People living on their own
• Seasonal workers away from home
We need to know who is out there that would come so we can begin to prepare for this festive occasion.
To this end can you please let us know an indication of the numbers your organisation would put forward, whether they would require travel to and from the event and if they have children.
Please forward this information to Ezekiel Mafusine from the Salvation Army by the 17 September.
You can contact him via phone on 5285109 or
Please also let us know if anyone is keen to volunteer on the day or to help us with preparations.
We will get back to you closer to the time to confirm details
