Pathways to Power Term 4

A guided course in developing a sense of Self, deepening a sense of self-confidence and esteem.
This popular course led by Kindra Douglas will again be held in the fourth term at the Women’s Centre. Wednesdays 22 October – 10 December 2014 Gold coin donation per session.

Participants are guided in learning and practicing new skills to empower and energise their awareness of
the need for safety, balance, will, setting boundaries/limits, love and
creativity.
This is offered through a number of techniques and practices:

Ø  guided visualisation & meditation techniques

Ø  mind and psychological maps

Ø  group process

Ø  developing an appreciation of inner dialogue.

Who will this course most suit?

Pathways to Power will suit women who are basically well and functioning, but
feel that they need support to raise their self esteem and confidence, gain
clarity or direction, or to help them through a period of high stress or
difficult life events. There is a level of intimacy and trust that
is expected to develop over the course.
This requires a level of social skill and confidence, ability to accept
diverse opinions and experiences, and capacity to engage in pair work, small
group and larger group sharing.
