About presenters Shelley and Ben:
WORKSTAR is a specialist Supported Employment Agency that has served the Nelson economy well for over 25 years. Each year Workstars specialist service supports over 100 people under the age of 65 who manage a disability to find a job in Nelson.
Shelley has over nine years of recruitment experience both in the UK and NZ. Shelley has previously worked in a hospital setting and has a good understanding of, and rapport with, people who have health and disability barriers. Shelley enjoys her challenging and rewarding role of supporting clients as they find and keep jobs they love.
Ben has a wide range of employment experiences; from Factory to Sales, Dispatch to Consultancy. Having worked in Melbourne as a Disability Employment Consultant, Ben has a strong understanding of the challenges faced by Job Seekers with a Disability with the practical experience to assist in overcoming such barriers.
