We contacted you during the year to tell you that the way we work out child support was going to change from 1 April 2014. These changes are being delayed.
If you have any Inland Revenue posters or brochures about the change with the implementation date of 1 April 2014, please destroy them.
If your customers are on a benefit – the delay in bringing in these child support changes won’t affect their benefit.
If you or your customers are a paying parent, please continue to pay.

In March we’ll send customers a letter telling them how much they’ll pay or receive from 1 April 2014. This will be calculated the same way as it currently is.
