Alzheimers Nelson Field Worker to Visit Golden Bay

Families and friends often don’t know where to turn to when a relative or friend has memory problems.

Alzheimers Nelson’s Motueka based Field Worker tries to get over into Golden Bay at least 3 times per year, the session on Wednesday 13th November will be the final time for 2013. To meet her please phone Wendy Earle at Heartlands to make an appointment to met Rose. Rose uses this opportunity to not only met up with existing clients but also to provide information and support to people who are struggling with memory impairments and their carers. Earlier in the day is the Takaka Alz memory café, which is set up for people with memory issues and their carers to go along to and meet people in similar situations in a nice relaxing non judgemental social setting.
